My post today doesn't come from one single artist, but a collection of artists thrown onto one FREE compilation album via Cooling Pie Records. Their very first compilation consists of an excellent range of exclusive tracks from Orphans and Vandals, Jason Boyd, Clayton Scoble, A Brief Smile, Pocketknife, Ava Luna, kc quilty, Casiorossi, Bent By Elephants, Day Sleeper, Little Bear and the Bad Touch, Jesse Miller, Team Teamwork, Several Girls Galore, and Randy Numens.
According to their press release, "the principal goal of the record has been to connect and collect, to bring to the fore the work of some of the finest musicians who currently walk this benighted planet." You can listen to and/or download the album in it's entirety (FOR FREE) on bandcamp.com. I've also thrown a couple of the tracks into this post:
