Aaron Hehl, a singer-songwriter based in NJ has been writing and recording for years now.  I learned about his gig after working with him for a short time on some graphics jobs- his music definitely stood out as being attainable and interesting.  After finishing the art-job with Aaron, I still found myself on his myspace listening to the clear & clean melodies he and his band are known for.
While working with Aaron, I met Paul Sipio.  Paul drums for Aaron and also does a lot of solo work on the side.  His skills don't end at drums; in fact, its safe to say that his strength is bass guitar, as well as singing, though he does play a myriad of other instruments, including woodwinds.  The prolific catalogue he boasts on his Myspace is a testament to his abilities as well as his ambition.  It should not go unmentioned that PFW member, Dan Wythoff is good friends with Paul - Dan's just too hollywood to ever put a post up.  Paul currently resides in Boston, and studies music at Northeastern University and the New England Conservatory of Music where he intends on graduating in just over half the time it takes a normal human.
Mack Flinn & The Whosis Kid have their new album finished and its pretty amazing - a year in the works, and it shows.  The songs range from dark and somber, to almost corny but still hip and lighthearted.  I've yet to get my hands on the full version, but from what I can tell its a thousand steps up from their already unique and impressive first record, "Requests From Abroad and the Girls who Thought They Made Them."  PFW Member, Keenan, as previously mentioned, plays a key roll in the production and drumming of Mack Flinn's Music.  I highly reccommend the tracks: "No. 13" and "Whosis Kid" now streaming on their Myspace.
