Beautiful Small Machines, featured back in July for their debut EP, Robots in Love, are back this month with a new release. Where Robots in Love was "cheeky and upbeat," they claim their latest release, Simple Joys, to represent the more "dark and discordant" side of their two-piece electro-pop personality. The new release appears to include the single, "Simple Joys" (featuring Simon Le Bon of Duran Duran), as well as a handful of remixes of that particular single.

To coincide with the release of their new EP, Beautiful Small Machines will be partaking in CMJ 2009 with a performance on Wednesday, October 21 at Kenny's Castaways on Bleecker St. in New York City. The EP will be available via iTunes (as well as a handful of other outlets) as of today, October 20th. You can also stream/preview it in its entirety via this website.
