Trifonic is a San Francisco based duo consisting of two brothers, Brian and Laurence Trifon. Although both brothers seem to have come from two very different musical backgrounds, they make a pretty good team when it comes to electronica music. The duo prides themselves in combining downtempo and IDM electronic styles with rock and yes, even classical music.
Their collection of music isn't necessarily mind blowing, but there certainly is talent present. It's safe to say that these guys know their way around Logic and Ableton extremely well (for those of you computer-software nerds out there). It also doesn't hurt they are also advocates of free music. Not only can you stream their entire discography on their website, but you can also download their remix EP, Remergence for free via their bandcamp site. Embedded below is one of said bandcamp tracks, "Transgenic."
