Brian Medlin and Eric Haag, the two men behind the moniker Ghost Away, have been very busy making music lately. Ironically enough, however, they've been busy making music for others - as opposed to an album for themselves. Their latest EP entitled "Music For Movies" is just what its title suggests. The EP consists of six original, instrumental tracks created by Ghost Away for the purpose of being used in a handful of movies (that I'm assuming friends of theirs have either put out, or will be putting out sometime in the near future). A couple of the tracks are a bit more abstract and environmentally setting (such as track one, "A Landscape"). Others, however, still tend to have the same familiar Ghost Away sound I presented to PFW way back in August of 2008. I've embedded two of the tracks below, but (in true Ghost Away nature) they've put the entire EP up as a FREE DOWNLOAD on their site, ghost-away.com. So feel free to visit their site and download it in it's entirety, you literally have nothing to lose.
