Whilst giving Trophy Scars the full-monty this past month, we had the pleasure of seeing & recording Where The Ocean Meets The Sky. Look out for some live footage of them at Flyer's Skate Zone. On top of enjoying their performance to a great length, the band members were humble, appreciative, and anything but arrogant - so if not for any other reason, we wish them our best on their upcoming pseudo-tour.

While the tour may not have a name, or a concrete direction, its clear the band is exploring some serious ambition as they'll be everywhere from Virginia to New York over the next few months. Musically, the band could probably best be described as a Southern, Hardcore version of your favorite pop band. What stands out most about the group is their bass and guitar player whom handle the singing: Kenny and Marc have an unbelievable pitch range and their harmonies truly blew me away. I'll try and do a full feature on WTOMTS sometime in June; in the meantime - enjoy!

THE SKINNY: Hardcore Music with unimaginably tight, harmonied vocals, which further sit within some really brutal screaming. It's easy to understand why Orange Julius is among their listed influences on MySpace.
