    Sin Fang Bous

It seems like I just can't seem to get enough of the artists on Morr Music lately. Browsing through their family, I recently came across Sin Fang Bous, the solo project of Sindri Már Sigfússon out of Iceland. Looking into him some more, I discovered that he also happens to belong to a very successful looking indie-folk group named Seabear, also from Iceland. His solo project, however, is some of the most creative music I've heard in a very long time. As for describing, I don't even know where and/or how to begin. Many of the tracks (off of his debut album Canglour) are incredibly energetic, beautifully layered, and very rich. Others, however, are much more subtle - breaking down to nothing more than a banjo, bells and vocals - but nonetheless still very creative. He also manages to incorporate very subtle, but effective electronic sounds/alterations into nearly every track - which simply add to it's uniqueness. I can't really say much else, as it's pretty difficult to explain. Therefore, I'm going to just put up some of their media. Below is a video of my personal favorite - one of the more energetic tracks from their record entitled "Advent In Ives Garden." In addition, there's an mp3 of one of the more subtle, banjo-based tracks from the record called "We Belong."
