I can't always find music that I absolutely, 100% adore; so sue me.  Here are some bands I've stumbled across that are still deserving of yours and my time, though...

LOVE is a STORY, brainchild of lone band-member Benji Kay, infamous for his work in Oklahoma as an emo-pop mastermind, is busy at work with this new project. While I don't love it, its certainly insanely well produced, and surprisingly independent. Definitely worth a mention - if electronic pop is your thing, you might get into this. There's a solid-as-they-come cover of Imogen Heap's "Hide & Seek" available for streaming that I highly recommend.

Streets of Fire, debuting only recently with their first output, "the ghost EP" is certainly worth more than one listen.  I've had the pleasure (along with PFW members Keenan and Chris) of joining Rocky, their lead singer on stage in other projects and Streets of Fire is yet another peek into his ambition and ability.  Another beautifully produced, independent record deserving of some attention - looking forward to good things from these guys.

Anchorage are a post-hardcore group from New Brunswick, NJ.  Plenty of sincere yelling going on, that if I could decipher I'd write more about.  They have a Blindside vibe about them - you wont' find any steadfast, reoccurring song structures or time signatures, and its this variety that keeps things interesting - extremely important when rhythm takes precedence over very little melody.  All in all, Anchorage will appeal to those that like to be smacked in the face and left with some coherence.
